In March of 2020, Ontario Government ordered the closure of all non-essential businesses across the province for 14 days. This included a shutdown of all outdoor amenities, stores, public venues, gyms, libraries, schools and majority of small businesses. Toronto looked empty and deserted, walking downtown felt quite surreal and somewhat daunting. The lockdown lasted almost 3 months. The second wave of Covid-19 triggered yet another lockdown. Unfortunately, the lockdown lasted almost two full years.
